El Morito Caturro
This is a unique expression of Peruvian coffees produced by Finca El Morito. This coffee has expressive tropical fruits with nice lavender florals in the finish. What's interesting is the level of delicate flavors in this coffee mainly in the tropicality and florality which are found in classic washed Geshas. We wanted to feature this coffee because this is a newer expression of Peruvian coffee and we think this region will have lots more to offer across the coming years!

According to El Morito, this "Yellow Caturro" is an anomaly of Yellow Caturra, the lot's flavors were far more vibrant and tropical than the average, almost akin to flavors you'd expect from a high-grown Geisha.
In the cup we find a forefront of sweet passionfruit, quickly transitioning into vibrant red grape, with a light finish of lavender florals.
