El Triangulo Gesha (2024)
This is an exceptional presentation of what clean expressive washed coffee is! From producer Erwin “Wingo” Miersch is a stellar washed Gesha with vibrant and juicy notes of passionfruit, intense lavender, and floral intensity. This is one of the best coffeess we’ve ever tasted from Honduras. As with most Apollon’s Gold coffees, please let this coffee rest for at least 4 weeks before brewing. We generally find these coffees to start opening up around 5-7 weeks off roast!

El Triangulo, a well-known staple here at Apollon's Gold, comes from our long-standing friend and partner, Wingo at Fincas Mierisch. Having collaborated since 2017, we’re thrilled to feature this geisha from their Santa Lucia lot, which clinched 1st place in Cup of Excellence in both 2019 and 2021. This year's lot is particularly intense and bright, showcasing the qualities of high-altitude geishas while maintaining the elegant balance of its terroir. A soft, delicate acidity complemented by bold sweetness and vibrant lavender florals, makes this a truly exceptional coffee experience. In our opinion, one of the world's best geishas, without question.
Expect bright, juicy, and sweet passionfruit and pomelo, with extremely vibrant and perfumed notes of lavender. Very long after taste of sweet jasmine florals.
