Elida Natural Exclusive Geisha
Rich stone fruit, lemongrass, jasmine, white florals, ripe acidity!
This naturally processed Geisha from Elida Estate is popping with ripe and rich stone fruits, jasmine, white florals, and it's super sweet! The presentation is fruity and floral with complex layering and structure of acidity. When cooled, the stone fruit acidity starts to pop more and a structured lemongrass note appears while the white florals and sweetness becomes harmonious. This is a fantastic presentation of naturally processed Panamanian geishas with deep fruit notes, beautiful layering, and clean sweetness.
We recommend you rest this coffee for at least 3+ weeks before brewing!
From La Cabra:
This natural lot from the Elida Estate showcases clean white florals atop a complex base of rich and ripe stone fruit.
This lot is from the ‘Aguacate’ lot of Elida, located at 1800 masl. This is also the plot where Elida’s prize-winning natural lot from this year’s Best of Panama was grown. Ripe Geisha cherries were picked on Aguacate on the 10th of March 2025, taken to the Lamastus family’s processing station, and dried directly on raised beds. This is exactly the same lot as the other natural lot we are currently roasting, from the same day of picking in March, but without the extra fermentation in sealed tanks. The cherries took over 30 days to dry. This slow and careful drying means the cell structure of the coffee remains intact, locking flavour compounds into the seed and leading to excellent shelf life.
