Finca La Benedición - Natural Pacamara

Sipping this coffee is like biting into a toffee filled dark chocolate bar!

In the cup we find a cocoa forward expression of dark chocolate, nougat, and toasted almonds with a high level of sweetness. This naturally processed Pacamara is roasted by Moonwake Coffee roasters to a comforting medium-dark roast level and is a perfect base for your milk drinks or as a nice bold and sweet black cup of coffee. We suggest you pay attention to the linger and finish on this coffee as you sip! It reminds us of a melting chocolate bar without any of the harshness one may find in darker roasts.

Brewing Advice:

We suggest you brew this coffee at lower temperatures (85-90C) with lower flowrates (1-3ml/s) to a shorter ratio of 1:12 or 1:14. This coffee has a large sweet spot and you should predominantly experience a chocolate forward profile and big lingering sweetness. If you are pulling this coffee on espresso a traditional ratio of 1:2 (18g in, 36g out) and lower group head temperatures (90-92C) is a strong place to start!
